Parish Council
The Parish Council has a surprisingly wide ranging remit which impacts the local community and its environs, for which it receives an annual budget from the Council Tax. This includes management of the allotments, burial grounds, bus shelters, drainage of ditches, crime prevention measures, footpaths, highways, acquisition and disposal of land, planning, litter, open spaces, public buildings, recreational facilities, traffic calming, transport and water supply. The Parish Council aims to ensure that Fulmer Village continues to be an attractive and desirable community that people choose to live in, and to which they contribute.
We have 10 meetings in a year with the Annual Parish Council Meeting each May. At each meeting we hold a Public Quarter hour and all are welcome to attend to bring items to our attention.
